“ Long overdue. Have been to this place twice now. The food here is on another level. I have tried the following dishes, kale chat, saag burata, bhindi, dal makhani, ras malai tart, dilwalon ki chat, rice pudding, croquettes and naans. The chaat, saag burata and desserts are my favourite. The ambience is amazing. The staff and owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The menu is not your box standard items, that get served in all Indian restaurants. The chef, owners and the team are truly passionate about their food. I suggest dining in to get the full experience. ”

“ Visited here for the first time for dinner. The ambience of this place was beautiful. A staff member greeted us and welcomed us nicely. We ordered Paneer khatta pyaaz, Malai kofta, pocket naan and pocket garlic naan. The gravies were beautifully presented and they tasted delicious. I personally loved lot of Sultanas in Malai kofta balls. The food was fusion of Indian taste and beauty. The service was quick which we definitely appreciate especially when with kids. Taking one star away as the naans were bit pricey. We have tasted better naans at less cost too. Would highly recommend. Keep up the good work. ”

“ Jashn used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Torquay, but then it moved and the chef must have changed... Because now it's 3x better! I never thought kale could taste that good! The food is to die for, is very reasonably priced, especially given the serving sizes. I ordered food for 2 and had not 1 but 2 leftover servings! One of my favourite restaurants, if I could give it 6 stars I would. ”

The dining area wasn't cramped, the ambience complimented the cuisine, the staff were friendly and efficient, and I couldn't fault the table service. The Butter Chicken, naans, rice and poppadoms I gorged my way through were very moorish, and big enough to satiate most appetites. Did eating here hurt my wallet ? Not really. It's Torquay, so prices were in tempo with the area (e.g. Melbourne prices). Overall, I feel I got good value for my money. Do yourself a flavour and dine here when you get the chance to. ”
